Carolyn Barraclough
In the dim and distant past I gained a BA in English with French Literature, followed by a PGCE and Cert TEFL. I enjoyed teaching EFL in Greece and the UK for many years before moving into EFL publishing, working as an educational consultant and editor for OUP and Heinemann/Macmillan. More recently I had fun taking an Oxford University course in life writing which I would thoroughly recommend.
I’ve had the pleasure of co-authoring a wide range of ELT Students’ Books working with some great people along the way. Both Compass (Richmond) and Wider World (Pearson) were recent finalists for ELTon Awards and Activate! (Pearson) won a BESA award. Suzanne Gaynor and I are excited for our new Richmond title for 2021, Keep It Real. The designers and publishing team have done an amazing job with it.
